Pefkochori is a village located in Kassandra, Halkidiki, it is located about 105 km from Thessaloniki, and is surrounded by a pine forest, offering a beautiful green and blue aesthetic. Relevant archaeological evidence suggests the existence -around of Pefkochori – of an ancient settlement, which is identified with the ancient Aigai.
Pefkochori has a beautiful sandy beach and organized beach bars along the coast of the village, which in summer serve tens of thousands of tourists, and is located near the excellent beaches of Xenia, Hanioti, Kiropigi and Polychrono, which are an attraction for visitors to Halkidiki.
The village roads that cross the village and lead towards the beach, become pedestrian streets with shops and cafes, giving you the opportunity to enjoy your walk on the coastal road and the narrow streets of the village.. Do not miss in the evening to walk through the old village’s streets and visit the old square.
During the summer months you can visit bars, fish taverns and restaurants where you will taste the magic of Greek and Mediterranean gastronomy. It has a unique view of the bay of Kassandra and the top of Mount Athos.
